Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...

I bought a cool new toy today! It's a KVM switch. I'm so excited. It allows me to be unbelievably lazy :) I've got my monitor, audio, mouse, and keyboard all plugged into this switching device. Then, out the other side of the device are two sets of wires - one set plugging into my desktop, and one set plugging into my laptop. Now, at the flick of a key, I can switch between my Mac and my PC!
There's a couple problems to iron out right now - there's noticeable refresh delay b/c of the extra cable length and transformations (to get to my Mac, the LCD cable goes through the switch, then out the switch's cable, and out the serial-to-mini-DVI cable, then into the laptop finally), and I need a mouse-to-USB converter if I want to not have to switch mice when I switch computers, and the audio switching has a few little kinks, which wouldn't be an issue except that iTunes doesn't share between the wired and the wireless subnets.
But it's so cool! I just press scroll lock twice! Voila, PC! Voila, Mac! weee!
