Little Bits of a Little Bit's Life

Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...

Wow, have I ever been busy. I've got a to-do list that's a mile long, and I still haven't quite decided which classes I'm going to take this quarter. I've been busy every single night this week, and NOT b/c I've been dancing, sadly. Our staff is so totally gung-ho about programming that they're putting stuff on all the time. I haven't had barely a spare minute to myself.

But, despite all that whining, my life is wonderful right now. It's been ages since I've had so many consecutive days where I go to sleep thinking, "I just had a fantastic day! I can't wait for tomorrow!" Last week I went hustling a little, and all my favorite people were there, and we had a great big huge floor all to ourselves. Yay! Saturday night I got to hang out with Neal & Evan & all of his roomies/friends, which was just an inexplicably awesome evening. All the people I met were sooooo cool; I can't wait to go back and hang out with them some more. Yay! Neal's going to give me his old LCD - triple Yayayay! Sunday was O-show, in which the freshmen gave us so much energy during out performance that it was just awesome. Yay! Monday was hanging out with a good friend, and our first staff meeting, which was exciting and went on for ages because we were screwing around so much. Yay! Tuesday was the first Mirlo Mixer Event, in which I got dolled up and "initiated" residents into Mirlo. I think everyone had a blast! Yay! Wednesday I was given a real unicorn (YAY!!!) which I named Sara after the girl in the movie "Labyrinth," and made an absolute fool of myself during Decadance auditions. But I was laughing while I was doing it, so hopefully they were too :) Yay!

This is the perfect way to start off senior year :) As one of the many Daves in my life, RA-Dave-#1, put it, "This is the year of Becky!" (in homage to the "Summer of George" Seinfeld episode). Thankfully all my invitations are digital these days hehehehe. Hopefully this plan will be immune to thwarking, as another David in my life would suggest. We'll see :) :) :)
