Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...
The Brothers K

Welp, I'm back safely from Italy, and Norway. Now just bumming around home with my brother (soon to be at school with me!) and my mother (soon to be all by herself in a very large but newly refinished home). I've been to the mall every day that I've been here, and even for me that's a little much. Hopefully tomorrow I can sit around and actually get some work done. Otherwise, don't have a whole lot to blog about. Can't really think about classes yet b/c I have a schedule written out already, but it's on my server - which is in storage. Don't have much to say about jobs, b/c a) haven't started looking, and b) wouldn't know where to look.
But in other exciting news, I got TWO new pairs of tennis shoes!!! In Stanford colors too!!! Mostly I'm just excited b/c now with TWO, I'll be able to use one pair - my Adidas, probably - for dedicated workout shoe, and the other - the New Balance all-terrain shoe - for daily use. Although, I'm still shopping around for another pair of shoes. I've decided that I dress too shabbily, and I need to spruce up my wardrobe. In which case a pair of pointy-toed heels is in high order. And Dillard's is having a sale!
I'm sure you all are just dying to know all about my shopping escapades. :)
