Little Bits of a Little Bit's Life

Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...

I have no idea what time it is. My body clock is about as confused as any clock without batteries could possibly be. Not only am I suffering jet lag from travel (9 hours ahead), I am constantly trying to calculate what time it is in California (which not only makes my head hurt but also confuses me), and I also just slept for 24 hours instead of getting up and doing things during the day (of course, who can tell what time of day it is here anyways? It's nearly 10:30pm and it's not even dusk yet!!). I'll post a picture tomorrow of what it's like at 1am so that you can see how frustrating it is. My plan is to stay up all night one night, and find out what hour is the darkest hour of the night here in Oslo. Then, I will sleep around that time.

You know what would be very convenient for someone to make? A list of all catholic churches, organized by location, in English. With maps. Sigh. Too bad I didn't think to bring a Bible with me :( Plans for tomorrow, then: go to Kiwi Mini and buy food, toilet paper, a clock, and more, then head into the city or go up to the lake (ooh maybe I'll go to the lake at night!). I'll keep y'all posted -- with pictures! :)
