Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...

I had this really really wierd dream last night. If you read Penny Arcade regularly, this will probably make more sense to you. In my dream I was (of course) running away from something, and I ended up in this gorgeous townhouse complex where all the townhouses looked like old Scottish castles - stone turrets and green lawns and whatnot. I chose one randomly, and knocked on the door. Guess who answered: Gabe. I had somehow stumbled onto the place where Gabe & Tycho lived! Furthermore, after I knocked on the door I was no longer running from something, but delivering something to Gabe & Tycho. I asked if I could hang around for a little while after I gave them their thing (memory fails as to what it was), seeing as it was 3:00 and I had some event at 3:30 and I just wanted to sit and talk for a while. Gabe was like, uh, ok. There was another lady wandering around the house (which was gorgeous too btw, with Cathedral ceilings, many levels, new draperies, and lots of sunlight), so she was probably Kara although I seemed to know her from something so maybe it wasn't. They were half-moved into the place; some things were unpacked and other rooms were full of boxes. Anyways, it was funny because Gabe was totally the biggest geek ever. He had no clue how to interact with girls, and especially with girls he thought were pretty (judging from his behavior he obviously thought that I was). Oh! I think the girl was Scully, from the X-Files, with blonde hair. hehe. Anyways, I ended up staying for dinner (yes, before 3:30 - I didn't miss my event. My dreams have very warped senses of time) which was some kind of casserole. We talked a lot about video games and I teased Gabe & Tycho about their comic. Then I woke up. Isn't that a strange dream? I think that in general I have pretty creative and detailed dreams, but it's been a while since I've had a good one like this :)
