Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...

Boy, I have a lot to write about from this weekend! I actually wrote down blog ideas as they came, because there were so many and I was going to forget them if I didn't. You'll be getting them periodically this week :)
First off, and most importantly, THE TIME SCHEDULE IS UP!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!! *commence serious partying* I have now confirmed my ability to have classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and have 5 units of Richard Powers and another 2 of ballet. This sounds to me like the most fantastic course schedule to ever exist. I just need to find another real class at 11am on TThu (perhaps fulfilling a GER? perhaps fulfulling a SymSys requirement?), and then I will have "classes" (read: dance fun for units!!) from 8:45am to 5:05pm.
Of course, all of this comes at a price. The only class which I have absolutely vowed to take is CS248, Intro to Graphics. The only other course I was extremely interested in taking is Eve Clark's Language Acquisition I. Guess what time each class is offered. You guessed it - simultaneously! But see, even that makes me smile right now, because I know things are back to normal! It's good old schedule planning, the most compulsive, frustrating, and gratifying activity on the face of this planet. =)
In other news, I owe a few people shout-outs.
- Mad props to Tinars for a blast on Friday evening. Yum, Chinese! Yum, salsa! Yum, good leads and meeting people and seeing different dancers!
- Mad props to Dave, who put a lot of effort into creating quite an adventure for our date on Sat. What a truly fantastic time :)
- Mad props to Mikey for providing me with probably one of the best laughs I've had in months. Seriously, go read this RIGHT NOW.
- Mad props to Quentin, the Amazing Vanishing Man. Somehow, he & I just can't seem to get it together. We live in the same dorm, and he's never around when I am. Hmmm....;)
- Mad props to Brian L., the person who keeps popping into my life in the most random of manners. First, it was Japanese freshmen year first quarter. Second, it was because of Tony: the common wierdness was a magnet, I suppose. Then, it was because we both play Smash Bros. Now, it's because he's using the same serial number on his copy of Fireworks as I am. Does life get any stranger?
Okey dokey, that's enough blogging for now. On to real work. You'll get more updates later :)
