Little Bits of a Little Bit's Life

Maybe they'd have to hold each other when it rose, all organe and full and close. Maybe that's where our romantic notions about the moon first came from. Two people holding each other to keep their hearts from breaking, because everybody they knew was dying in the cold rocks and dust piles a quarter million miles away...

I came into work this morning all motivated to accomplish at least one of the two goals I'd set for the next few days. I expected it to take me all day to figure out how to do it. So imagine my surprise when it actually took like 20 minutes. I was thrilled! However, it destroyed my motivation to accomplish anything else. The smart person would get ahead on his work, right? Not me. I figured, since I had budgeted a full day to do this one job, might as well spend the whole day doing that one job. If it gets done early, that gives me free reign to screw around the remainder of the day, right? :) *sigh* Anyways, I'm trying to keep motivated until 5:30, when I should leave. Really, that's only two more hours of work, since there will be an hour of chai in there. Yay!

I'm also going home tomorrow. I'm both looking forward to it (I need to get away from here pretty desperately), and dreading it (I can't handle 10 days of only my mother and 10 days of no dancing and no dancer people to hang with). It also feels weird, like I've only been back two days before leaving again. I haven't had time to really settle down, and I feel uber-busy now b/c of that. The past fews days have been packed and emotionally draining. 10 days of quiet nothing await, thankfully. I will blog excessively once I get home :)
